Privacy policy

This is a translation. If it differs from the Dutch version, the Dutch version applies.

1. Who we are

Interiorboards is owned by Softmint.nl B.V., Etersheim 11, 1474 MT Oosthuizen, KvK 80251927 ("we"). We are responsible for the data in this policy. This policy says what data we keep, why, and how we protect it.

2. What data we keep

• Your name and email address, if you create an account.
• Your boards, the links to products and the photos you upload.
• If you take Plus: the status and the amounts of your payments. We do not receive your payment details, such as your card or account number. Mollie holds those.
• If you link your Pinterest: an access key from Pinterest, stored encrypted.
• If you report something: your name, your email address and what you report. This reaches us as an email.

3. What we use it for

• You can create an account and log in.
• Storing, showing and sharing your boards, if you choose to.
• Making Plus work and handling payments and invoices.
• Communicating with you, for example an email to confirm your email address.
• Handling a report. This is a legal duty under the Digital Services Act.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored in our own database in Amsterdam. We have taken appropriate measures against unauthorised access, use, change and disclosure.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We do use a few parties to make the service work:

• Mollie, for payments.
• Mailgun, to send emails.
• Cloudflare, for security and to stop bots when you log in.
• Pinterest, only if you link your account or save a board to Pinterest.

6. Cookies and statistics

We use one cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use cookies for tracking. We measure use of the website with anonymous statistics, without cookies and without following you. If you create an account, we only count that, without your name or email address. We do not count your boards or your account page.

7. Your rights

You may view your data, have it corrected and have it deleted. You delete your account yourself on your account page. We then delete your name, email address, boards and uploads. Boards you had made public and that we use as an example, we keep without your name. We keep invoices as long as the law requires, currently seven years.

8. How long we keep data

We keep your data as long as your account exists. If an account has not been used for 180 days, we archive it and make the name on your boards anonymous.

We keep a report and the emails about it for two years.

9. Changes

We may change this policy. We put any change on this page, with the date at the top.
